On 4th July, my son and I travelled to Birmingham Hippodrome to see the Van Gogh Alive multimedia exhibition.
It was incredible! Huge screens everywhere with Van Gogh’s paintings, some of them animated. You could actually see the brushstrokes on the paintings! There was a soothing and inspirational soundtrack to accompany the experience. Unfortunately, due to my son’s autism, I was forced to leave half way through, but what I saw was stunning.

Must have been inspiring to see his brushstrokes so vividly and be part of his scenes.

It really was. Wish I could have enjoyed it for longer. I loved the animations! Brought the pictures to life!
